Players in Brazil and Texas need to verify their age with AgeKey before playing Hotel Hideaway. It’s free, takes a few minutes, and you only need to do it once per device.
What you’ll need
The phone or tablet you play Hotel Hideaway on.
A web browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.)
One of these: your device’s camera to take a selfie, a government ID, or a credit / debit card.
How to set it up
Open the browser on your phone then go to https://agekey.org/create-brazil/
You’ll be given a choice about how you want to verify your age: Face scan, Government ID, or credit / debit card. Your camera estimates your age on-device. Nothing is stored or sent.
Save your AgeKey. After verification, your device will ask you to save a passkey. Confirm with Face ID, fingerprint, or your screen lock.
Open Hotel Hideaway. When prompted, select AgeKey. You’re in, and you won’t be asked again.

Is it free?
Yes, completely free.
What does Hotel Hideaway see?
Only a yes/no that you meet the age requirement. No name, no birthday, no face scans, no ID details.
Is it safe?
AgeKey uses the same security as passkeys and biometric logins. Verified by k-ID, which holds ISO 27001 and ESRB Privacy certifications.
I don’t have an ID or a credit / debit card.
Use the face scan option – it only needs your camera and works entirely on your device.
I changed phones.
If you use iCloud Keychain or Google Password Manager, it syncs automatically. Otherwise, just create a new one at agekey.org.
